Sales Lead

- Sales Strategy Implementation: Drive the sales of starch (both native and modified) and gluten to clients within the food and feed sectors, particularly focusing on the bakery industry.
- Client Representation: Act as the face of our organization, providing expert advice to existing clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities and expanding into new markets.
- Proposal Development: Craft competitive offers and engage in price negotiations to achieve successful sales outcomes. Represent the company at international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to enhance networking opportunities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Collaborate with the sales manager to produce insightful analyses and reports, including customer data, visit summaries, and order documentation.
- Logistics Coordination: Work closely with logistics and export teams to ensure product availability and optimize the product portfolio for the food and feed marketing sector.
- Market Insights: Develop comprehensive market overviews, forecasts, and evaluations specific to the food and feed industry.
- Customer Support: Address customer issues and manage complaints in partnership with quality management, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Product Testing: Conduct tests of customer formulations in both the application laboratory and at client locations.
- Market Introduction: Facilitate the introduction of new product developments to end-users in the food and feed sectors.
- Educational Background: Completed vocational training or a degree in chemistry, food technology, or a related field.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with food and feed regulations and ingredients.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales or within food markets.
- Quality Assurance Proficiency: Knowledge of quality assurance and certification systems, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with a high degree of self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and German.
