JOB DESCRIPTION: Labor Relations Specialist
We are in search of a dedicated professional to join our organization as a Labor Relations Specialist. This position entails acting as the main liaison for local works councils regarding all matters related to collective labor legislation. Collaborating closely with HR leadership and various departments, your key responsibilities will encompass negotiating and formulating collective agreements, managing HR initiatives, addressing tariff concerns, and handling general co-determination issues.
- Foster effective communication with co-determination entities
- Promote resolution of inquiries in a constructive manner
- Ensure adherence to co-determination standards in (internal) initiatives
- Partner with departments to draft agreements and spearhead negotiations
- Assist in conciliation processes and aid in conflict resolution
- Create strategies for collaboration with employee representation groups
- Provide guidance to executives and HR personnel on co-determination issues
Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of collective labor law
- Several years of pertinent experience
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Enthusiasm for working closely with works councils
- Proficiency in English
- Competent in MS Office applications
- Willingness to travel occasionally
