Employee Relations Specialist

You Lead the Way. We've Got Your Back

Team Amex is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to contribute to the constructive collaboration with the works council, shape the culture of fairness, and provide expertise to business leaders and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support works council consultation and collaboration
  • Provide guidance on labor law aspects and regulations
  • Develop works council agreements and guidelines to ensure compliance
  • Manage Health and Safety activities and initiatives
  • Identify trends and implement proactive solutions
  • Support disciplinary cases and investigations
  • Participate in global HR initiatives and best practices

Requirements:

  • University degree in law or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in employee relations or labor law
  • Knowledge of German labor law and regulations
  • Experience with works councils and collective bargaining
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
  • Fluency in German and English
