Job Title: Senior Electro-Functional Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electro-Functional Systems Engineer to join our team at OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Electro-Functional Systems Engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of our space projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Electro-Functional Systems Engineering team and coordinate with other teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain Electro-Functional design baseline solutions and ensure compliance with customer requirements and budgets.
  • Define and maintain instrument Electro-Functional budgets and ensure they remain within allocated requirements.
  • Perform technical management of subcontracts and support the evaluation and management of deviations and non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with System technical management and other Systems Engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
  • University / polytechnic degree or PhD in Physics or Engineering, ideally in Systems Engineering with focus on Electro-Functional disciplines.
  • At least five to ten years of professional experience in design, development, and verification activities for space projects, preferably in the Electro-Functional area.
  • Organized and structured task approach, high degree of motivation, and ability to lead and guide a project-related Electro-Functional engineering team.
  • Deep understanding of the system from the electro-functional point of view and ability to lead system and unit-level verification activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in international and multi-disciplinary teams.
