Electro-Functional Systems Engineer

OHB System AG is a leading space company in Europe, with a strong presence in Bremen and Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich. We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Functional Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Electro-Functional Systems Engineering team for payload projects, including coordinating and guiding a team of engineers.
  • Develop and maintain Electro-Functional design baseline solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and budgets.
  • Define and maintain instrument Electro-Functional budgets, ensuring they remain within allocated requirements.
  • Perform technical management of subcontracts in the assigned technical area.
  • Support the evaluation and management of deviations and non-conformances.
Requirements
  • University or polytechnic degree in Physics or Engineering, with a focus on Systems Engineering and Electro-Functional disciplines.
  • At least five to ten years of professional experience in design, development, and verification activities for space projects, preferably in the Electro-Functional area.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to guide a team and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in international and multi-disciplinary teams.
