About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our Field Technicians and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement learning programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that training content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage learning timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Partner with Program Leads globally to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
- Help implement metrics and evaluation protocols for learning deliverables.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with HVAC systems in a relevant role, such as technician, engineer, sales engineer, product support, or front-line manager.
- Demonstrated interest in training and supporting colleagues to build knowledge and enhance performance.
- Experience collaborating with instructors, SMEs, learning professionals, product managers, vendors, program managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English language.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivering training programs.
- Fluency in German, Spanish, French, Italian, or Dutch.
- Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) products and systems.
- Project Management experience to support program management, scheduling, communications, and delivery.
- Previous experience supporting teams who deploy learning across the EMEALA region.
- Experience working in a multinational organization.
