We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team at FERCHAU GmbH as an Operational Purchaser. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing various components and materials for our clients in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of various components and materials
- Preparation of negotiations and data preparation
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
- Preparation, execution, and settlement of orders
- Operation of procurement systems
- Interface management with logistics and lifecycle planning
- Creation and sending of requests/offer evaluation
- Participation in committees and handling of escalation cases
- Contribution to the identification, selection, and establishment of new suppliers
Requirements:
- Completed studies in business administration or comparable education with ideal additional qualifications in business administration
- Ideal experience in operational purchasing in the automotive sector
- Technical and project management understanding is an advantage
- Confident appearance in dealing with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Excellent team and communication skills, as well as strong negotiation skills, persuasion, and a secure appearance
- Very good German and English language skills
