AS A TERRITORY SALES DIRECTOR, YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:

You will be tasked with crafting and executing a sales strategy aimed at meeting established objectives within your designated region, which encompasses Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe. As the Territory Sales Director, you will possess a thorough understanding of your market to effectively deploy our technological solutions and assess the competitive environment. You will identify new market opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential partners. You will establish effective communication with various stakeholders, including direct clients and partners, utilizing your professional network.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Surpass annual capture/order targets for the region

• Formulate and implement both short- and long-term strategies to boost orders in the region, aligned with corporate objectives.

• Collaborate closely with Program Managers to develop Project and/or Program Sales as necessary

• Enhance channel strategies, including the engagement of strategic partners

• Stay informed about technological trends and their business implications

• Understand market dynamics, including competitive factors, to:
- provide valuable product feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering
- identify promising target markets/applications
- devise and execute strategies to penetrate existing and new markets

• Achieve results by effectively managing key partnerships and allocated resources

• Key Account Management: nurturing existing relationships with major clients and establishing new connections with other significant customers (either directly or through your team)

• Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries, leads, and sales opportunities

• Conduct reporting and order forecasting as required for the role and utilize SFDC in accordance with established protocols

• Travel to meet clients, channel partners, various company locations, and participate in trade shows (up to 25%-50%).

Qualifications and Skills Required

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL YOU BRING?

• A proven history of exceeding sales targets in the Defense electronics sector within Germany

• Technical sales expertise or a relevant technical qualification

• Familiarity with Aerospace & Defense electronics products and systems

• Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and partners

• A collaborative team player with outstanding communication and presentation abilities

• Self-motivated, confident, dedicated, and enthusiastic

• Capability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proficiency in connecting with team members located in different regions

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and CRM tools

• A MOD Security clearance or eligibility for such clearance is advantageous.

WHAT WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE TO SAFRAN?

• At least 5 years of sales experience with relevant electronic products in Aerospace and Defense sectors

• Relevant experience with Position, Navigation, Timing, and/or Simulation products, or alternatively in the C4ISR, EW, or Sensor domains. Experience with technical products sold to B2B or Government, Aerospace, and Defense sectors / MoD

• Experience managing a field sales channel, including direct sales and representatives or distributors

• Strong technical sales capabilities and a working knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense market

Job Specifics

WHERE WILL YOU BE LOCATED?

This position is based in Germany (preferably in Munich, Köln, or Hamburg), which necessitates the ability to obtain security clearance.
