Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the position of "Sales Manager Space Optronics (f/m/d)" within our "Sales Airborne / Security Solutions" division, located in either Oberkochen or Taufkirchen.

The "Sales Airborne & Space Optronics" team is tasked with driving sales initiatives and campaigns for the HENSOLDT Airborne & Space Optronics product line, which includes conducting market research for product development and competitive positioning. We are looking for a candidate who specializes in the sales of Space Optics and Laser Communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategize, plan, execute, and oversee national and international sales campaigns aligned with our business protocols Manage key accounts for strategic clients within the aerospace sector Formulate sales strategies for market penetration and develop capture plans Conduct competitive assessments and incorporate market trends into product offerings Build, nurture, and sustain a national and international network of civil and military clientele Engage in contract negotiations in collaboration with relevant program teams Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development and Program teams

Candidate Profile

Completed degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related field Established network and professional background in the space industry Several years of hands-on experience in sales Extensive experience in customer relationship management Proven track record in proposal preparation Strong communication and negotiation skills across various levels and domains High degree of commitment, cultural openness, enthusiasm for sales, and intercultural sensitivity Proficient in both German and English
