Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Sales Manager Space Optronics (f/m/d) to join our team in the Sales Airborne / Security Solutions sector. This department is pivotal in managing sales initiatives and campaigns for our comprehensive portfolio in Airborne & Space Optronics, which includes conducting market research for product development and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, strategize, execute, and oversee national and international sales initiatives aligned with our operational protocols.
  • Manage key accounts for strategic partners within the aerospace sector.
  • Formulate sales strategies for market penetration and prepare detailed capture plans.
  • Conduct competitive assessments and incorporate market trends into our product offerings.
  • Build, nurture, and sustain a robust network of civil and military clients both domestically and internationally.
  • Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with relevant program teams.
  • Engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development and Program Management.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related field.
  • A well-established network and professional background in the space industry.
  • Extensive experience in sales, with a proven track record.
  • Strong expertise in customer relationship management.
  • Significant experience in proposal preparation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills across various organizational levels.
  • A high degree of commitment, cultural openness, enthusiasm for sales, and intercultural sensitivity.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
