Claims Governance Consultant

Your Role
As a Claims Governance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our claims processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough internal audits and assessments within Claims departments, both in Munich and across our global offices.
- Performing qualitative evaluations of Claims management systems, such as the LMR Loss Management Reporting database.
- Communicating findings from reviews and collaborating on strategies for enhancing operational efficiency.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of Claims policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintaining current authority levels for all roles within Global Claims.
- Assisting in the identification and analysis of key risks and compliance vulnerabilities in claims operations, including fraud and financial sanctions.
- Engaging actively in project work related to claims governance.
- Designing and delivering training sessions on governance-related topics.
- Representing Claims interests in cross-divisional governance discussions.
Your Qualifications
- A university degree in law or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Claims responsibilities in the reinsurance or direct insurance sectors.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, often virtual teams, with a strong grasp of agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
- Experience in engaging with international teams or networks.
- Fluency in business English, with additional languages considered an asset.
- A high level of dedication and willingness to travel as required.
