Claims Governance Consultant

Your Role
Ensure quality control through the planning and execution of internal assessments within Claims departments across various locations. Conduct thorough evaluations of the data within Claims management systems, such as the LMR Loss Management Reporting database. Communicate findings and follow up on identified opportunities for enhancing efficiency. Contribute to the refinement, ongoing development, and application of Claims policies, operational procedures, standards, and practices. Maintain current levels of authority for all roles within Global Claims. Assist in identifying key risks and potential compliance weaknesses in claims operations, including fraud and financial sanctions, while completing the Operational Risk and Control Self-Assessment (ORCS). Actively participate in project work related to claims topics. Prepare and deliver training sessions on specific governance issues. Advocate for Claims interests in cross-divisional governance matters.Your Qualifications
A university degree in law or a comparable qualification. Proven experience and understanding of Claims responsibilities within reinsurance and/or direct insurance sectors. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in international teams, often in virtual settings; adept in agile methodologies. Excellent communication and intercultural skills. Experience in engaging with international and virtual teams or networks. Proficient in spoken and written business English; additional languages are a plus. High commitment level with a readiness to travel.Application Process
