Your Role

Conduct thorough quality assessments through planning and executing internal audits within Claims departments both in Munich and globally. Perform qualitative evaluations of the information contained in Claims management systems (e.g., LMR Loss Management Reporting database). Communicate findings and engage in follow-up actions regarding review outcomes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Contribute to the refinement, ongoing development, and execution of Claims guidelines, operational instructions, standards, and processes. Ensure that authority levels for all functions within Global Claims are current and properly maintained. Assist in evaluating critical risks and pinpointing potential compliance vulnerabilities within claims procedures (e.g., fraud, financial sanctions) and complete the Operational Risk and Control Self-Assessment (ORCS). Actively participate in project work related to claims topics. Prepare and deliver training sessions on specific governance subjects. Represent Claims interests in cross-divisional governance matters.

Your Qualifications

University degree in law or a similar formal qualification. Proven experience and understanding of Claims responsibilities in reinsurance and/or direct insurance. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in international team dynamics, often in virtual settings; skilled in agile methodologies. Excellent communication and intercultural competencies. Experience in collaborating with international and virtual teams or networks. Fluent in both spoken and written business English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. High commitment level with a readiness to travel.
