Claims Governance Consultant

Your Role
Conduct quality assurance through meticulous planning and execution of internal assessments within Claims departments, both in Munich and across international offices. Perform qualitative evaluations of the data within Claims management systems, such as the LMR Loss Management Reporting database. Communicate findings and engage in follow-up actions regarding review outcomes, focusing on opportunities for efficiency improvements. Contribute to the development, enhancement, and implementation of Claims guidelines, work instructions, standards, and processes. Ensure that authority levels for all functions within Global Claims are current and compliant. Assist in the analysis of critical risks and identify potential compliance vulnerabilities in claims processes, including fraud and financial sanctions, while completing the Operational Risk and Control Self-Assessment (ORCS). Actively participate in project work related to claims topics. Prepare and deliver training sessions on specific governance subjects. Represent Claims interests in cross-divisional governance matters.Your Qualifications
A university degree in law or a comparable qualification. Proven experience and understanding of Claims responsibilities within reinsurance and/or direct insurance sectors. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in dynamic international teams, often in virtual settings; adept in agile methodologies. Strong communication skills and intercultural awareness. Experience in engaging with international and virtual teams or networks. Proficiency in spoken and written business English; additional languages are a plus. High commitment level with a readiness to travel.Application Process
