HR Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Payroll Specialist to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Global Human Resources team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations.
- Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters to employees and managers.
- Liaise with social insurance providers, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to digitalization projects, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Several years of experience in human resources, with a focus on income tax and social security law or payroll.
- Completed commercial training or a degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll-related topics, including holidays, part-time work, maternity leave, and parental leave.
- Proficiency in payroll accounting systems, ideally SAP (HCM).
- Fluent German and conversational English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented approach.
