Jobbeschreibung

Senior WAN Engineer

Als Senior WAN Engineer im Bereich der Hyperscaler-Plattform Microsoft Azure erwartet dich eine faszinierende Rolle. Du wirst die Möglichkeit haben, die Netzwerkarchitektur innerhalb von Azure zu gestalten, implementieren und pflegen, wodurch du eine Schlüsselrolle in der Sicherstellung einer optimalen Konnektivität zwischen Unternehmensnetzwerk und Cloud-Ressourcen spielst.

Deine Verantwortlichkeiten umfassen die Integration von ExpressRoute-Verbindungen, die kontinuierliche Optimierung der Netzwerkleistung und die Implementierung fortschrittlicher Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, um die Azure-Infrastruktur gemäß den höchsten Standards zu schützen.

Als Senior WAN Engineer arbeitest du eng mit anderen Teams zusammen, um eine reibungslose Integration von WAN-Lösungen mit anderen Unternehmenssystemen sicherzustellen. Du bist für die Entwicklung und Pflege der Netzwerkdokumentation sowie Topologie-Diagramme verantwortlich und überprüfst und aktualisierst diese Dokumentation regelmäßig bei Veränderungen in der Netzwerkinfrastruktur.

Qualifikationen
  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Netzwerktechnik, vorzugsweise in WAN Umfeld
  • Fundierte Erfahrung mit Netzwerkbetriebssystemen verschiedener Anbieter z.B. Junos-Evo, NXOS, IOS-XR und Netzwerkprotokollen wie TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VLANs, VxLAN/ EVPN, VRF
  • Gute kommunikative und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, mit der Fähigkeit, effektiv mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zusammenzuarbeiten
  • Fähigkeit, unter Druck zu arbeiten, Aufgaben nach Prioritäten zu ordnen und mehrere Projekte gleichzeitig zu verwalten
  • Einschlägige Zertifizierungen wie CCNP, JNCIP sind ein Plus
  • Fähigkeit zur Konzeption und Dokumentation von innovativen Netzwerkdesigns, um den Anforderungen gerecht zu werden
  • Bereitschaft an einer rotierenden 24x7 Rufbereitschaft teilzunehmen
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache
