About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect Senior Specialist to join our Office Network team in Walldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-availability networks in a technically complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of technical experts to ensure timely delivery of network-related projects.
  • Develop relationships with other IT departments to stay aligned on new service and technology rollouts.
  • Ensure guidelines, policies, tools, and processes are up-to-date.
  • Share knowledge continuously with the team.
  • Identify limitations of current and future network landscapes and drive optimization of the overall SAP Office network.
  • Work with SAP Global Security to design future-ready network landscapes.

Requirements

  • A formal education with a Bachelor's or Master's degree is beneficial.
  • Experience designing high-availability networks in a technically complex environment and the ability to anticipate changes are valued assets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • A positive attitude, sociable team player with a service-oriented approach.
  • An innovative thinker who can see the bigger picture.
  • Ability to analyze and implement efficiencies.
  • Working accurately and without supervision.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
  • Prepared to travel in and out of the country.
  • Deep knowledge of network security.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • CCIE or CCNP grade in-depth knowledge of network protocols, network infrastructure, and related IT services.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written German and English.
