European Lifecycle Services Director

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and strategically develop the European aftermarket sector, encompassing parts, installations, and services. Formulate a comprehensive strategy and business plan aimed at expanding the aftermarket, including budget allocations and actionable plans to meet growth objectives. Analyze existing processes to identify best practices that will facilitate growth. Implement industry-leading practices to enhance safety, elevate service quality, and drive market expansion. Collaborate closely with regional leadership to transition from current methodologies to innovative strategies. Assess and identify market opportunities such as refurbishments, upgrades, remote diagnostics, and process consultations. Conduct thorough market sizing and financial analyses to quantify potential growth and profitability. Oversee the operations of field service teams, ensuring timely and professional technical solutions for our clients. Evaluate customer inquiries to determine appropriate service responses and engage in problem-solving and root cause analysis as necessary. Cultivate and enhance a robust and diverse service organization through positive and inclusive leadership. Define and implement structural changes that support operational enhancements. Manage service performance metrics to boost aftermarket results by monitoring and analyzing outcomes; initiate improvements; identify customer service trends; and implement system enhancements. Establish and execute both short-term and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operational procedures. Develop departmental and capital budgets essential for service and support operations. Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and corporate guidelines. Collaborate effectively with various functions and departments as required, including Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Product Support, and Quality Assurance. Undertake special projects as needed.Qualifications:
Technical expertise relevant to identifying opportunities and formulating strategies for servicing the plastics machinery sector, particularly in packaging, medical, automotive, and consumer electronics. Proven experience in a similar role with leadership and management responsibilities. A proactive mindset and logical problem-solving approach, even in high-pressure situations. Effective collaboration and organizational change management across diverse functions and regions. Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive strategic business plans for aftermarket services. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities with agility and precision. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities. Capable of translating complex technical and statistical data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
