We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Siemens AG. As a Data Analyst for Strategic Controlling in SCM/Procurement, you will play a key role in driving digitalization projects, process optimization, and global sustainability reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze company-wide procurement data to resolve performance targets and ensure successful global reporting and controlling of relevant critical metrics.
- Visualize KPIs in easy-to-understand and user-friendly dashboards, including creating the underlying data model/management to identify weaknesses, risks, and trends.
- Participate in budget planning processes and act as a dynamic interface for Businesses, Regions, and our Pooling team.
- Coordinate expert and working groups in the area of sustainability reporting with a focus on decarbonization and support the development of a performance controlling approach for (product) carbon reduction measures.
- Monitor the quality and implementation of carbon reduction productivity measures by the Businesses to guarantee worldwide consistency and reasonable reporting assurance.
- Collaborate in cross-functional digitalization projects with a focus on sustainability, process optimization, and improvement of data-related and technical topics.
- A master's degree in economics, (business) informatics, or a scientific field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, project management, preferably in a procurement or sustainability-related environment, ideally complemented with knowledge around carbon accounting.
- Experience working with large amounts of data and the ability to tell a story based on analyzed data.
- Proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, and Alteryx.
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex tasks and methodological competence.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
