Strategic Data Analyst for Procurement and Sustainability

At Siemens AG, we're committed to making a positive impact on the world. As a Data Analyst for Strategic Controlling in SCM/Procurement, you'll play a crucial role in driving our digitalization projects, process optimization, and global sustainability reporting initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze company-wide procurement data to resolve performance targets and ensure successful global reporting and controlling of critical metrics.
- Visualize KPIs in easy-to-understand dashboards, including creating the underlying data model/management to identify weaknesses, risks, and trends.
- Participate in budget planning processes and act as a dynamic interface for Businesses, Regions, and our Pooling team.
- Coordinate expert and working groups in sustainability reporting, focusing on decarbonization, and support the development of a performance controlling approach for carbon reduction measures.
- Monitor the quality and implementation of carbon reduction productivity measures worldwide, ensuring consistency and reasonable reporting assurance.
- Collaborate in cross-functional digitalization projects with a focus on sustainability, process optimization, and data-related topics.
What We're Looking For:
- A master's degree in economics, (business) informatics, or a scientific field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, project management, preferably in procurement or sustainability-related environments, with knowledge around carbon accounting.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to work with large data sets, and tell a story based on analyzed data.
- Proficiency in BI and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, and Alteryx.
- Strong conceptualization and implementation skills, as well as methodological competence.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
