Are you a seasoned procurement professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for driving cost optimization and value creation in procurement? We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team at h&z.

Your Mission

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing consulting projects on site at our international and national customers. You will develop effective cost reduction measures and product group optimization plans, leveraging your expertise in procurement and category management. Your role will also involve mentoring and developing our analysts and junior consultants on the projects.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need a completed master's degree from a well-known university, ideally with an MBA or PhD. You will also require 5 years of professional experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement and category management. Your expertise in areas such as commodity group strategies, material cost reduction, negotiations, and supplier days will be highly valued. Additionally, you should have experience in leading procurement initiatives and managing a large number of procurement measures. Fluency in English, German, and potentially another foreign language is essential.
