EHS Governance & Management Systems Manager for Europe (f/m/d)Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the effectiveness of our core principles, initiatives, policies, and procedures aimed at managing workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance. Your efforts will be crucial in ensuring our facilities are safe and compliant.

Your Contributions Will Include:
  • Developing and executing the European EHS roadmap and strategy, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
  • Enhancing audit systems (e.g., ISO/ASI) in conjunction with existing EHS audits and coordinating PSEA and validation audits.
  • Ensuring the integrity of our EHS performance measurement systems, promoting digitalization, and guaranteeing timely reporting.
  • Implementing and maintaining an emergency response plan across the region and facilities, ensuring effective communication and updates.
  • Driving efficiency and best practices in accident prevention strategies.
  • Proposing and executing an EHS skills matrix, facilitating or conducting training sessions.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven expertise in management systems, project leadership, and driving improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and specialization in relevant areas.
  • Exceptional communication skills across various organizational levels.
  • A collaborative team player with high self-motivation and assertiveness.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, system and process-oriented thinking, and a keen affinity for tools and data.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% to various facilities within Europe.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
