Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data assets. You'll work closely with our IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate data governance requirements to technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful data management activities and standards.
- Take ownership of a data governance domain to lead and manage independently.
- Develop practical solutions to implement data management activities through technical and business stakeholders.
- Support the documentation of data management activities, including data quality criteria, business term descriptions, database fields, and information flows on technical, business, and process levels.
- Evolve and expand the group-wide data governance framework.
- Completed degree in Business Administration or Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications in the insurance or banking industry.
- Desirable 2-3 years of experience in the insurance or banking industry, with experience in project implementation related to process introductions/changes or databases/IT systems.
- Interest in data governance and data management, as well as related regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II and BCBS 239).
- Good coordination, communication, motivation, and transparency to create and the ability to present complex issues in a targeted manner.
- Communicative team player with analytical and conceptual strength and a structured approach.
