EHS Governance & Management Systems Manager for Europe (f/m/d)Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the effectiveness of our overarching principles, initiatives, policies, and procedures concerning workplace safety, health, and environmental management, ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory standards and continuously enhances the safety of our facilities.

Your Contributions Will Include:
  • Ensuring alignment of the European EHS roadmap and strategy, while implementing guidance and routines that integrate global, regional, and plant-specific objectives.
  • Streamlining audit systems (e.g., ISO/ASI) in conjunction with current EHS audits and organizing PSEA and validation audits.
  • Guaranteeing the integrity of data within our EHS performance measurement systems, promoting digitalization, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Implementing and maintaining an emergency response plan across the region and facilities, including updates and communication.
  • Driving efficiency and best practices related to accident prevention strategies.
  • Developing and executing an EHS skill matrix, facilitating or conducting training sessions.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven expertise in management systems, project management, and driving improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations with specialization in relevant areas.
  • Exceptional communication skills across various levels of hierarchy.
  • A collaborative team player with a high degree of self-motivation and assertiveness.
  • Strong analytical abilities, system and process-oriented thinking, and a keen affinity for tools and data.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% to our facilities across Europe.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
