Senior Commercial Director - Vaccines

Are you a seasoned commercial leader looking to shape the commercial strategy and accelerate customer engagement in the vaccines industry? This Sales & Marketing Combined Director role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

As a Sales and Marketing Combined Director, you will be responsible for elevating the quality and consistency of Launch Excellence and Business Planning within the business franchises and across the Regions.

This role offers a unique chance to lead key activities to progress your career. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Global implementation and continuous improvement of the Launch Excellence Framework across all Franchises and, through liaison, across all Regions – this includes:
  • Process content ownership; partnering and supporting business franchises & Local Operating Companies (LOCs) with implementation of the Launch Excellence steps
  • Identifying and sharing key launch insights/learning and incorporating these into the Launch Excellence process
  • Monitoring global launch performance to assess the business impact of the Launch Excellence process
  • Supporting Franchises & Regions with launch performance including course correction, optimisation and a disciplined approach

Key Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of senior commercial experience as General Manager or senior marketing role in large market
  • Product launch experience and commercial support of assets through different stages of development
  • Experience in regional or Local Operating Company (LOC) Commercial roles in both sales and marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Accelerated Delivery Program (ADP) Practitioner
  • Ability to influence, challenge thinking and gain credibility with senior stakeholders
  • A record of strategic thinking and disciplined execution
  • Agile and distributed decision-making – using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk, governance and control, managing ambiguity and paradox.
  • Managing individual performance.
  • Creating a performance culture and driving results, prioritisation, execution, delivering performance.
  • Setting strategic direction and leading on-going organisational transformation.
  • Building a resilient organisation.
  • Building strong relationships and collaboration in service of common goals, engaging the organisation and building trusted external networks for mutual benefit.
  • Managing P&L and capital allocation.
