RISK MANAGEMENT
The Risk Management division plays a pivotal role in overseeing, assessing, and mitigating both anticipated and unforeseen risks that may adversely affect the organization. Professionals in this field are tasked with essential daily risk oversight duties, managing projects, and continuously enhancing a robust risk management framework. Effective collaboration with senior leadership, various business units, control functions, and technology teams is vital for achieving desired outcomes.

CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT
The Credit Risk team is responsible for managing the organization’s credit exposure to trading and lending partners. Experts in this area protect the firm’s capital by leveraging their financial analysis skills to evaluate clients, markets, and products, thereby making informed risk decisions.   • Conduct thorough credit assessments and financial evaluations of corporate borrowers and counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Review lending and underwriting activities, establish risk appetite and regulatory classifications, and form independent evaluations of cash flow forecasts and critical document protections.
  • Regularly perform sector analyses to identify portfolio concentrations and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to authorize derivatives transactions, ensuring appropriate documentation, limits, and risk management practices to mitigate counterparty default risks and minimize potential losses.
  • Analyze inherent risks associated with the products the organization engages with, including lending, trading, and derivatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various internal departments, such as Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on corporate credit risk preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment banking products, including loans and derivatives.
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions and effectively navigate client and business negotiations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory rating requirements and their application.
  • Strong skills in documentation (loans and/or derivatives), analysis, presentation, and communication.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior members.
  • Effective communication skills at senior management levels.
