Responsibilities
- General Advisory Work
- Provide expert advice on statutory interpretation, regulation, and compliance matters.
- Contract Management
- Manage, draft, review, and advise on contracts and agreements, including supply contracts, non-disclosure agreements, employment agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Business Support
- Work closely with the business on day-to-day matters, advising on operational and commercial legal problems.
- Contract Negotiation
- Prepare, review, and negotiate a range of contracts to support factory operation and sales.
- Procurement Support
- Assist in major procurement and project origination from headquarters.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Work closely with HR on labor issues, data protection, and competition law areas.
- Identify and manage risks for the business.
- Compliance and Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in ensuring statutory and contractual compliance and engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- German and/or China qualified with at least three years of law firm or in-house experience.
- Strong capability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
- Meticulous, organized, and committed to work.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders globally.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English is imperative.
