Role Overview
As a Workday Integration Partner, you will be instrumental in enhancing automation processes within the Workday platform and other interconnected systems. Your role will involve validating integration requests, designing, developing, and maintaining effective integrations, ensuring the integration documentation is regularly updated, and testing integrations in response to system modifications.
You will be part of our vibrant People Tech team, which primarily oversees the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Reporting to the People Tech team lead, you will collaborate with three other team members. Our team is responsible for configuring Workday, implementing new functionalities, integrating with various systems, and customizing the platform to align with the organization's needs. We aim to transform Workday into a user-friendly, self-service tool tailored to our specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new and support existing Workday integrations (both inbound and outbound), troubleshoot integration issues, and propose technical solutions to enhance current processes.
- Assist the People Tech team in recommending integration solutions, aiding in the configuration and testing of integrations that intersect with functional design or business operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive integration documentation.
- Implement best practices for data governance and security within Workday integrations.
- Collaborate closely with IT to ensure effective coordination on integration-related matters.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and performance improvements, utilizing the latest features and functionalities of Workday to foster continuous enhancement.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other HR systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Peakon).
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday integrations and other HR systems (e.g., Greenhouse and Peakon), including both native and custom integrations.
- Proficient in Workday Security, Business Processes, Reporting, and Calculated Fields.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with colleagues across various functions with impact and credibility.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and a strong work ethic.
- Solid understanding of Data Privacy principles and their application.
- Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Integration processes and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
- Preferred: Experience with Workday HCM configuration and/or Workday Extend.
