We are seeking your expertise in the Human Resources Department within the Payroll, Travel Expenses, and HR Ticketing System Division at the earliest opportunity. This division provides advisory support to management and staff on personnel matters. The management of employee relations and payroll processing, including time management and travel expense accounting, is integrated into our comprehensive HR services. We utilize SAP HCM to effectively coordinate increasingly complex business processes. As a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for the professional organization of payroll processing for various employee groups within the University Hospital, the Faculty of Medicine at Goethe University, and affiliated companies.

Your Responsibilities
  • Execution of monthly payroll calculations based on collective agreements and non-collective agreements, along with all subsequent activities using SAP HCM.
  • Ensuring smooth, timely processes while adhering to legal, contractual, and organizational regulations.
  • Reviewing payroll calculations in accordance with social security and income tax requirements, as well as conducting quality checks.
  • Acting as a point of contact for social security agencies and authorities regarding income tax and social security inquiries.
  • Assisting during audits conducted by tax authorities, social security agencies, and auditing firms.
  • Providing professional support to colleagues in the HR Administration Department on payroll-related topics.
  • Generating standard reports, ad-hoc analyses, and supplying requested information.
  • Specializing in company pension schemes, such as VBL / ZVK.
  • Reconciling accounts with financial accounting.
  • Participating in HR projects.
Your Profile
  • You hold a successfully completed university degree with a focus on business administration or possess equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • You have gained experience in payroll processing with solid knowledge of collective agreements, income tax, and social security law, as well as in audits.
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM is advantageous.
  • You are willing to actively participate in change processes.
  • You enjoy knowledge sharing and possess a high degree of responsibility, assertiveness, commitment, and teamwork.
  • A proactive, structured working style and strong communication skills are among your strengths.
  • Due to legal requirements, a valid proof of measles immunity/vaccination is necessary.
