Assistant Manager of Compensation and Benefits (m/f/d)

within the People & Organization Division at Kia Europe.

Your mission:
Ensure that all Compensation & Benefits (C&B) initiatives align with corporate guidelines. Take complete responsibility for the administrative functions essential for C&B core operations, while also contributing significantly to the development of engaging Compensation and Benefits Programs designed for our European workforce.

Your responsibilities:

Manage all facets of the European compensation initiatives within the organization, including critical processes such as compensation strategy, annual salary assessments, management incentive schemes, and discretionary bonuses. Ensure these processes are efficient and reflect the values and expectations of our vibrant workforce. Oversee the Kia Recognition Initiative: Lead the Kia Inspiration Award, a program aimed at honoring and rewarding the exceptional contributions of our team members and enhancing peer recognition. Monitor trends influencing the European market: Continuously improve our Compensation & Benefits framework to boost its effectiveness and relevance; engage with key stakeholders to remain updated on significant changes and emerging trends in Europe, ensuring our programs are competitive and appealing to new talent. Conduct salary evaluations against external benchmark data and engage in external salary assessments. Execute routine grading evaluations. Promote transparency through effective communication: Prepare clear and open communications to employees regarding salary evaluations, bonus outcomes, and recognition program events. Foster transparency and openness in every process, empowering employees with the information they need to understand and appreciate their compensation packages. Assist heads of people & organization in various regions with fundamental inquiries related to compensation processes; serve as a resource for employees seeking clarification or guidance on compensation-related issues, reinforcing our commitment to supporting and empowering our workforce.

Your qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits roles within diverse, global settings. Bachelor's or Master's degree in areas such as Human Resources or Business Administration. Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in additional languages is advantageous. Comprehensive understanding of compensation and benefits policies, including adherence to EU regulations. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing data to inform decisions. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Capability to excel in high-pressure environments and adapt swiftly to evolving demands.
