Senior Manager Global Compensation (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Contribute to the Global Compensation Team by developing and implementing premier Global and Equity Compensation initiatives that align with adidas' business objectives and people strategies, adhering to corporate governance standards. Collaborate closely with the Executive, Variable, Equity & Global Compensation Leads.

Engage actively in the comprehensive design and execution of annual compensation cycles (Salary, STI & LTI), partnering with Rewards Partners and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure seamless operations.

Emphasize the use of data analytics to enhance Employee Experience, maintain external competitiveness, and ensure internal equity within adidas' compensation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in the development and execution of top-tier Global and Equity Compensation programs, ensuring alignment with adidas' strategic goals and corporate governance principles, driven by data and analytics to enhance Employee Experience.
  • Lead and/or assist in global projects and initiatives to guarantee the effective implementation of uniform compensation programs across regions.
  • Ensure that adidas' Global Compensation policies and practices effectively attract, motivate, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Guarantee compliance with all regulatory standards for Global Compensation through the establishment and digital monitoring of KPIs.
  • Promote equitable pay practices throughout adidas, in accordance with best Corporate Governance standards.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to facilitate effective change management and secure alignment and support at all organizational levels.
  • Assist in global compensation benchmarking efforts.
  • Lead and/or support activities related to the execution of Compensation processes, including but not limited to: STI, LTI, and Pay Review, serving as the Subject Matter Expert within HR Rewards.
  • Participate in global/local project/process workstreams to ensure successful project/process delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Rewards Transformation team to facilitate the transition of Compensation processes to GBS, focusing on process enhancements and clearly defined roles for effective delivery.
  • Engage in monitoring the effectiveness and ongoing development of these programs.
  • Provide guidance on operational compensation matters, including grading, benchmarking, compensation packages, and transparency.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of communication materials and change management related to Executive, Equity, and Global compensation programs.
  • Stay informed about current and future trends affecting compensation and rewards programs.
  • Support the identification and implementation of digital Reward solutions.
  • Manage relationships and contractual agreements with external vendors pertinent to the role.
  • Engage in relevant external networks.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent education focused on business, finance, or HR Rewards.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR Rewards, particularly in Global Compensation.
  • Proven skills in influencing executive management.
  • Experience in leading projects and/or teams (directly or indirectly).
  • 7+ years of overall HR experience.
  • Experience in an international matrix organization.
  • A strong affinity for and experience with digital Reward solutions.
