Senior HR Rewards Manager (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The primary objective is to design, execute, oversee, and manage local compensation benefits and CBE tools, programs, and processes. This role aims to ensure that our workforce receives competitive and equitable compensation while addressing the diverse needs of employees across all generations, thereby encouraging retention and engagement at adidas.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Management

  • Gather and analyze local market studies to establish compensation benchmarks for specific roles or groups. Provide guidance to HR Business Partners based on findings.
  • Conduct and assess job gradings for HR Business Partners and offer relevant recommendations.
  • Develop and suggest salary ranges by region or function.
  • Maintain and update the job classification system.
  • Assist in preparing (executive) salary proposals.
  • Contribute to and implement global compensation tools, programs, and processes for leadership roles.
  • Prepare the structure for Short-Term Incentive (STI) targets, categorize employee groups, and ensure accurate system uploads.
  • Collect and disseminate local performance achievement results.

Benefits Management

  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure the effective operation of benefits plans.
  • Regularly evaluate local benefits offerings, including contract renewals and competitive bidding.

Cross-Border Employment

  • Manage cases related to executive relocations.

Policy Design

  • Define, design, and uphold local compensation, benefits, and CBE policies and guidelines within the global framework.
  • Update policy documents and provide necessary input for compliance.
  • Implement, enhance, and communicate local compensation, benefits, and CBE initiatives.
  • Ensure effective administration of all programs.

Training, Communication, and Change Management

  • Develop and execute change management strategies for local, strategic, and global compensation, benefits, and CBE initiatives.
  • Deliver technical and process-related training to HR teams.
  • Create and present localized communications regarding global, local, and strategic compensation, benefits, and CBE programs.

Compliance

  • Identify, interpret, and implement new local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, labor relations, tax, and social security obligations.
  • Interpret and enforce collective agreements and legal stipulations.
  • Determine and carry out relevant local audit actions, following up on identified points.

Required Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent education.
  • A minimum of six years of comprehensive HR experience, particularly in the Rewards domain.
