Procurement Operations Specialist

Overview of the Position
In this role, you will manage procurement processes, including data governance, purchase requisition approvals, and ad-hoc purchasing. As a Procurement Specialist at Mitsubishi Chemical Europe, your focus will be on delivering a high-quality procurement service to ensure that all products and services are acquired efficiently on a daily basis while continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Procurement Operations: Manage purchase requisitions, order fulfillment, and efficient procurement practices within the region. Meet Procurement Objectives: Assist in achieving both qualitative and quantitative procurement goals. Define Operational Buying Goals: Contribute to establishing operational buying objectives based on regional hub activities and insights. Ensure Proper Ordering: Responsibly procure goods and materials in accordance with business requirements and category management guidelines. Uphold Vendor Standards: Maintain transparency and integrity in external vendor agreements and master data in line with category team protocols. Foster Collaborative Success: Work effectively within the team, with category teams, and across the broader EMEA procurement network.Required Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in procurement within an international context. Knowledge of purchase requisition and order processing, as well as data management practices. Familiarity with purchase-to-pay processes and experience with ERP systems, such as SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Office, spend analysis tools, and e-sourcing platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to build effective relationships with diverse and international procurement teams. A proactive and ownership-driven approach in a professional setting. Business fluency in English and German.What You Can Expect:
