Procurement Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mitsubishi Chemical Europe. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing purchase-to-pay operations, achieving procurement targets, and ensuring effective ordering and vendor integrity.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with category teams and the broader EMEA procurement organization to achieve qualitative and quantitative purchase-to-pay targets.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure transparency and integrity of external vendor agreements and master data.
- Provide procurement support to regional hubs and ensure effective ordering and delivery of goods and services.
- Contribute to the development of operative buying targets and ensure alignment with business specifications and category management terms.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in purchasing and procurement in an international environment.
- Familiarity with PR-PO processing and master data management practices.
- Experience with ERPs, such as SAP, and proficiency in MS Office and spend analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with varied and international procurement teams.
- Fluency in English and German, with a strong business acumen.
