Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Raisin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving internal platform efforts, improving development tools and environments according to Cloud Native principles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud-based solutions to support the evolution of our banking platform running in AWS.
- Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams, and drive different automation and integration projects with regard to the latest technology.
- Research, assess, develop, and maintain new technology solutions for our Internal Development Platform.
- Collaborate with the team to set standards, establish guidelines, and share best practices to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide stable automated solutions for our internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery.
- Nurture teams to strive for test automation and quality assurance throughout the development process.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack engineer.
- Professional expertise in Cloud software development using Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, and Go (JavaScript is a plus for Fullstack).
- Proven track record of working with REST APIs, Kafka streaming platform, and relational databases.
- Strong passion for DevOps practices and hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tools, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Comfortable and confident driving technical and architectural discussions.
- Open-minded and creative team player who is eager to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology and culture.
- Great English communication skills.
