Your Role

As a Platform Engineer, you will work closely with diverse teams to tackle technical challenges and optimize our internal developer platform. Your efforts will help reduce cognitive load for your colleagues, allowing them to concentrate on critical business issues. Success will be measured using DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics.

Technologies We Utilize
  • Google Cloud Platform (including CloudRun and CloudSQL)
  • Terraform and Terramate
  • Datadog for monitoring
  • GitHub Actions for CI/CD
  • Programming languages such as Python, GoLang, and TypeScript
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules to enable developer self-service
  • Create software solutions and systems to manage the platform's infrastructure and applications effectively
  • Provide operational support and infrastructure expertise to engineering teams
  • Enhance developer experience and productivity
  • Improve DORA metrics to measure operational success
Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Platform Engineering, Site Reliability, or similar Cloud Engineering role
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly with Terraform
  • Experience with public cloud providers, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong knowledge of container-based infrastructure, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to program in high-level languages such as Python, GoLang, or TypeScript
  • Proactive in identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Customer-focused mindset with an emphasis on exceptional developer experiences
  • Proficient in English, with German being a plus
  • Residency in Germany is required
  • Interest in the climate technology sector
