Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at igus GmbH. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including payment processing, collections, and customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including payment processing, collections, and customer inquiries
  • Conduct order and credit checks to ensure accurate and timely payment
  • Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle collections and customer insolvencies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in financial reporting and audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify process improvements and implement changes
  • Participate in projects to improve accounts receivable processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in accounts receivable and credit management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and able to learn new software quickly
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in German and good English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
