Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Lead Accounts Receivable to lead our Accounts Receivable team and support HRS GmbH in bringing our services to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders and customers/suppliers to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable Team: Inspire and develop a high-performing team dedicated to excellence, setting clear goals and ensuring close cooperation between HQ and teams abroad.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to onboard new clients efficiently and accurately, and work closely with them to understand, evaluate, and implement new commercial models.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoice uploads from booking systems to the finance package, process credit card receipts accurately and punctually, and regularly invoice all commission invoices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, regularly follow up on outstanding debts, and ensure compliance with credit terms and prompt resolution of disputes.
  • Implement and document efficient processes in our IT systems, define clear standards, and stay ahead of regulatory changes to refine our operations.
  • Prepare detailed AR reports and define and measure relevant KPIs for the Finance Dashboard and weekly reviews with management.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in business, ideally with additional training as an auditor or tax consultant.
  • Experience: Several years in finance, preferably in a medium-sized e-commerce or service company with international sales activities, or a renowned auditing firm.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of finance and accounting (especially HGB) and tax issues (especially VAT).
  • Audit and Process Skills: Experience with international operational audits and intercompany coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cross-border settlement pricing systems and FIBU software (preferably MS Navision).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German (minimum B2 level) and English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.

The position is based in Germany, preferably Cologne, combined with frequent travel to HQ (Cologne). The attractive remuneration includes a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment, mobility, and an annual bonus.
