Ocean Freight Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient movement of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor ocean freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient movement of cargo.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and overseas stations to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Research and recommend the most cost-effective and efficient modes of transportation.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices and bills of lading.
- Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to meet operational KPIs and ensure 100% compliance with regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in ocean freight coordination or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
