Ocean Freight Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient movement of cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor ocean freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient movement of cargo.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and overseas stations to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices and bills of lading.
- Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery status.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of ocean freight shipments.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including minimum number of jobs handled per operator.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in ocean freight coordination or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
