Commercial Operations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Group Operations & Strategy team, you will be responsible for managing our travel operations, ensuring compliance with our travel policy, and providing excellent support to our employees and travel arrangers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our travel management processes, including updating and ensuring compliance with our travel policy.
- Provide exceptional support to employees and travel arrangers, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
- Collaborate with Central Purchasing to ensure efficient and effective travel arrangements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance our travel management operations.
- Develop and maintain training programs for users and maintain our intranet site and MS Teams channels related to travel.
- Serve as a point of contact for insurance-related queries from traveling employees.
- Assist with commercial tasks in Facilities Management, including rental contract management.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience with a commercial focus.
- Experience in travel management is an asset, and knowledge of contract law is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, proficiency in German, and independent user skills in English.
- Self-reliant and customer-centric working approach, with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
