Position Overview

Area of Responsibility
The Group Risk Framework & Quantification unit is dedicated to the ongoing enhancement, refinement, and upkeep of the Risk Management and Governance Framework for EUREX Clearing AG and its affiliates. This ensures adherence to relevant regulations and laws, fostering a resilient risk and control landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Non-Financial Risk & Multiple-Risk Framework, which includes risk evaluations, stress-testing techniques, and the delineation of roles and responsibilities across all Risk Types, including ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects. Conduct regular assessments and revisions of policies, procedures, and manuals to align with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Aid in the execution of SREP requirements for EUREX Clearing AG. Develop and conceptualize improvements for the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), focusing on Non-Financial Risk models. Execute necessary Pillar II calculations from an economic standpoint for risk reporting, capital allocation, and strategic planning. Provide expert guidance to the Non-Financial Risk Management team to ensure effective application of the framework. Support the execution of risk evaluations, particularly concerning operational risk issues. Contribute to audit processes and annual reporting. Deliver timely analytical insights and commentary regarding the Risk Framework landscape and emerging regulations to governance forums and senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

A relevant university degree. Proven experience in the development and implementation of Non-Financial Risk Frameworks, emphasizing policy and procedure frameworks, risk assessments, and stress-testing, ideally within an international banking or securities processing context. Strong understanding of pertinent regulations (KWG, MaRisk, SREP, ICAAP, EMIR, etc.). Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities, along with creativity and critical thinking skills to identify challenges and propose effective solutions. Exceptional presentation and communication capabilities. Proficient in MS Office applications. Strong command of written and spoken English.
