Risk Framework Specialist

Clearstream Banking AG is seeking a highly skilled Risk Framework Specialist to join our team. As a Risk Framework Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, improvement, and maintenance of our Risk Framework and Risk Governance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk assessment methodologies and risk models to support our risk management framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk governance.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Provide analytical commentary and insights on risk framework environment and new regulations to governance forums and senior management.
- Contribute to audits and annual reports.
- Relevant university degree in economics, business studies, legal/compliance, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks with a focus on policy and procedure frameworks, risk assessment, risk models, stress-testing, etc.
- Experience in non-financial risk management with a focus on financial services/banking/financial market infrastructure providers is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, and ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Very good knowledge of relevant regulations (SREP, ICAAP, CSSF 12/552, CSDR, ESG-related regulations/guidelines, KWG, MaRisk, etc.).
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, German, and/or French is an advantage.
