Operations Manager for Consumer Business

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager for Consumer Business to join our team at WEPA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of the Mill Operation Consumer (MOC) organizational structure, including the creation of meeting frameworks and performance review protocols.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance evaluations to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of agreed-upon action plans for both mills and group functions, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Lead specific performance enhancement initiatives, such as increasing machine speed and enhancing cross-profile capabilities, to enhance the mills' competitiveness.
- Provide support to individual mill managers in specific areas, such as engagement programs and management excellence tools like CL and CIL.
- Promote a collaborative leadership approach with mill managers, aiming for a high level of engagement and motivation.
- Implement ongoing cost reduction measures to enhance the mills' competitiveness continuously.
- Facilitate networking opportunities among Mill Managers, Operations Performance Management (OPM) personnel, and group functions to promote learning and professional development.
- Qualification: Relevant commercial training and further education or completed studies, at least 3 years of management experience required.
- Experience and Know-how: Several years of professional experience in the field of supply chain / logistics.
- Languages: English on a professional level, good German.
- Personality: Ability to work in a team, flexibility, motivation, proactive mentality.
- Working: Independent, team-oriented and structured work.
