We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team at syncreon America Inc. in Dortmund. As a key member of our inbound and outbound operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely provision of customer goods.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage personnel and oversee daily operations in the inbound and outbound departments
- Plan and control work distribution, brief employees, and coordinate with customers and temporary workers
- Coordinate the movement of goods within agreed SLAs and ensure orders are processed on time
- Process prioritized shipments, customer orders, and hand them over to employees for loading and/or storage
- Manage stock transfers, report damages and claims, and document accordingly
- Develop and maintain process descriptions and work instructions for the specialist department
Your Qualifications
- Commercial or technical training as a master craftsman, or a degree in business administration or industrial engineering, preferably in logistics and/or supply chain management
- At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics/freight forwarding, and 3-5 years of management experience
- Fluency in German and a good command of written and spoken English
