WEPA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations & Performance Manager to join our Consumer Goods division. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our mills by implementing innovative strategies, optimizing performance, and empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.
Your Responsibilities:- Organizational Development: Support the development and implementation of a new organizational structure for Mill Operation Consumer (MOC), including establishing meeting frameworks and performance review protocols.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular meetings and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering continuous improvement.
- Action Plan Implementation: Monitor and oversee the execution of agreed-upon action plans for both mills and group functions, driving accountability and progress towards goals.
- Performance Enhancement Initiatives: Lead specific initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, such as increasing machine speed and expanding cross-profile capabilities.
- Mill Manager Support: Provide guidance and support to individual mill managers in areas such as engagement programs and management excellence tools (CL & CIL).
- Collaborative Leadership: Promote a collaborative leadership approach with mill managers, fostering a high level of engagement and teamwork.
- Cost Reduction Measures: Implement ongoing cost reduction strategies to enhance the competitiveness of our mills.
- Networking & Development: Facilitate networking opportunities among Mill Managers, Operations Performance Management (OPM) personnel, and group functions to promote knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Education: Relevant commercial training and further education or completed studies. Minimum of 3 years of management experience required.
- Experience & Expertise: Several years of professional experience in supply chain/logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Languages: Professional proficiency in English, good German language skills.
- Personality Traits: Strong team player, flexible and adaptable, highly motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Work Style: Independent, results-oriented, and structured approach to work.
