Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Syncreon. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our inbound and outbound departments, ensuring the timely provision of customer goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personnel and resources in the inbound and outbound departments
- Plan and control work distribution and employee briefings
- Act as a liaison between customers and employees or temporary workers
- Coordinate the use of forklift trucks and plan the movement of goods within customer SLAs
- Ensure orders are processed on time and safely
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, targets, and customer requirements
- Process prioritized shipments and customer orders
- Manage stock transfers and updates in the warehouse management system
- Report and document damages and claims
- Develop and maintain process descriptions and work instructions
Requirements
- Commercial or technical training as a master craftsman, or a degree in business administration or industrial engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics or freight forwarding
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Fluency in German and a good command of written and spoken English
