Air Freight Logistics Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Logistics Specialist to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Global Opportunity Management process and overseeing the entire tender management process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Global Opportunity Management process
  • Analyze tenders and assign tasks to internal stakeholders
  • Develop response formats, pricing matrices, and responses to RFQs and RFIs
  • Provide high-quality proposals to opportunity management teams for validation and submission to clients
  • Support and maintain the pricing database for transport, logistics, and distribution tariffs
  • Conduct debriefing meetings for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful
  • Assign TM leads within the country team
  • Track and close all opportunities managed and provide accurate estimates of profit, retention, and loss

Requirements:

  • Advanced air freight expertise
  • Long-time working experience in logistics or project management with a focus on air freight
  • Functional experience in air freight, sea freight, and tender management
  • Expertise in scoping, solution design, and pricing
  • Basic business administration competence and basic business management skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional interfaces and succeed in a matrix organization
  • Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
