Job Title: Tender Management Specialist Air

We are seeking a highly skilled Tender Management Specialist Air to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Global Opportunity Management process and driving forward the development and implementation of specific logistics solutions for our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the Global Opportunity Management process
  • Analyse tenders and assign tasks to internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the entire process, including the development of response formats/pricing matrix/response to RFQs and the timely submission of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs to clients/vendors
  • Provide high-quality proposals to the assigned proposal manager, product manager and/or other opportunity management teams for validation and submission to the client
  • Support and maintain the pricing database for transport, logistics and distribution tariffs and take care of the maintenance of tender data profiles and records, including updating tender trackers and completed tenders
  • Ensure that debriefing meetings are conducted by bid managers and product managers for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful bids. Ensure that debriefings are shared with internal stakeholders upon completion
  • Support the assignment of TM leads within the country team
  • Ensure the tracking and closing of all opportunities managed and provide accurate estimates of profit, retention and loss, volume and trade information
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced air freight expertise
  • Longtime working experience in a logistics or project management with focus on air freight
  • Functional experience in the areas of air freight/sea freight and tender management
  • Expertise in the areas of scoping, solution design and pricing
  • Basic business administration competence and basic business management skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional interfaces and be successful in a matrix organization
  • Talent for organisation and ability to set priorities, plan, allocate and control
  • Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Work experience with CRM systems is an advantage
  • Fluency in English, verbally and in writing
