Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Export Operator Gateway Specialist to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As an Air Freight Export Operator Gateway Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing air freight exports, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage air freight exports, including booking, planning, and optimization of consolidated cargo.
  • Act as a central contact person for consolidated shipments, providing excellent customer service and support to our air freight branches in Germany and abroad.
  • Clear customs in Dakosy, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Optimize the utilization of BUP allocations, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Monitor and control the secure supply chain, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of goods.
  • Assign secure air freight status and verify aviation security documents.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship as a businessman/businesswoman (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services.
  • Extensive experience in air freight, with a strong understanding of air freight operations and logistics.
  • Good knowledge of English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a gateway environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
